WHAT THE HEART WANTS

Previously titled Marriage on His Mind

What the heart wants...
If BRENNA RAVEN can't have the man she loves, she's satisfied with raising his son.  Catching her teenage crush with her sister was only the beginning.  When her sister abandoned the baby conceived that night, Brenna did what needed to be done through the years to care for the boy.  She'd even married a man she despised to secure his future.  But does she have the strength to do it again?

What the heart needs...
Hardened cop CALEB BECK never makes a promise he can't keep.  Promises to a friend lead him back to his picket-fenced hometown, the perfect place to raise his murdered partner's one-year-old daughter.  Promises to himself have him trying to remain distanced.  It's not easy to do when he finds the hot-tempered girl who'd once been his best friend is now his father's widow and guardian to a child everyone thinks is Caleb's.  Instinct tells him to fight for the truth, but he can't risk losing Brenna's help.  Can he gain her cooperation when she's spent so many years hating him?  When barriers between them fall, will she let him walk away again so he can settle the score for his partner's death?

What the heart gets...

With marriage on his mind and toddler in tow, Caleb soon has Brenna wondering if she's judged him harshly.  Every moment spent together has her heart asking if she shouldn't dare to dream for more, but her mind still questions.  Once upon a time she'd trusted him with everything, only to be left with a broken heart.  What kind of mother would she be to risk that kind of pain with a child's heart as well?

SHADES OF GREY
Previously titled Never Forgotten

Your world can change in an instant.

For GREYSON CAHILL and MIRANDA JAMES that moment comes in the form of a picture.

To Sheriff Greyson Cahill, nothing is more important than family.  Thirteen years ago he made a mistake and his three year old sister was abducted.  On that day he lost more than his sibling, he lost his ability to believe in goodness and to trust. He lost faith in himself.  Greyson now exists only to serve and protect his family and his town.  His emotions are closely guarded and his heart off-limits.

Miranda James has had enough of heartless men.  She's never wanted for any physical comfort that wasn't handed to her on a silver platter.  But the things she desires most, love and sense of belonging, seem impossible to obtain.  Until a photo on a missing person's poster sends her in search of answers and sets her on a path that will change her life forever.
